Mission of the MonthWelcome to Mama’s Mission of the Month! My hope is that this will help me {and you} follow through on some of the goals that we have set for the month! So, if you are a mama and you want to join in, check out the intro post! (If you have already read the rules, you can easily grab the buttons from the Buttons Tab on the top of the sidebar.)

November Mission Update:  Let’s cut to the chase…I was not as productive as I would have liked! I got some of my list marked off, but definitely not everything!

Personal:

1. Get back on track with my B90 Bible reading plan. It’s hard to believe that I have read so much of the Bible in such a short time!

Marriage:

2. Have two date nights.

Parenting:

Truth in the Tinsel Ornaments 2503. Prepare for our advent study! We will be using Truth in the Tinsel again this year, but with a fun twist using the printable Truth in the Tinsel ornaments! Stay tuned… We are excited to be using this again this year! Stay tuned for an upcoming post about how we are using the printable ornaments.

Homeschooling:

4. Finish making the Bible printables to coordinate with our curriculum. So far I have copywork pages and printables for The Old Testament Books of the Bible and The Ten Commandments…next up…Psalm 23!

5. Finish our Ruby Bridges unit study and share about it on the blog.

Homemaking:

Simplified Dinners eBook6. Use Simplified Dinners and actually implement meal planning! Oh my goodness! I have already made at least four of the Simplified Dinner recipes and they have all been keepers! My kids even liked them! FYI, I still need to implement the actual meal planning process though.

Ministry/Friendships/Extended Family:

7. Update and add to my family/friend birthday list.

8. Finish packing and drop off our Operation Christmas Child boxes.

Blogging/Online Activity:

9. Continue to resurrect my other blogs.

10. Share the cards that I made to use along with the SHE Method.

11. Write a new workbox post showing how we have changed up our old workbox system.

Other:

12. Complete 10 scrapbook pages. I did two…that counts for something, right???

13. Hang the kid’s artwork.

Mission NOT Accomplished YET

My Mission for December 2012:

Can I just keep it real for a bit? I have been struggling. I feel like I am in some sort of slump/rut…or something! I could go on and on about all that is in my head and in my heart, but for now, it will suffice to say that this month I will be doing things a bit differently! There are so many things that I “need” to accomplish, but I am only going to hold myself accountable to one thing this month. I want to have fun with my kids everyday this month. December will be filled with lots of laughter, hugs, games, crafts, movies, tickling, singing, dancing, and me focusing on remembering all the reasons that being a mom was all that I ever wanted to be! Anything else I accomplish this month will just be an added bonus…

What is your December mission of the month?

If you participated last month, how did you do?
